Enter your class size or paste your students’ names, pick the operation and level, and download two printable PDFs: one worksheet per student, with different problems on each, and a separate answer key for you.
One page per student, with a name or student number, a date line and the problems. Every worksheet in the class has its own set of problems, and the worksheets never show answers.
A separate PDF with every student’s answers, listed by student number and name, so you can grade each sheet against its own key.
Printed on every page. Enter it later to reprint the whole class or a single student’s worksheet with exactly the same problems.
Addition, subtraction, multiplication or division; Easy, Medium or Hard; 10, 20 or 30 problems per student; US Letter or A4 paper.
Enter a class size from 1 to 40, or paste a list of names, one per line, for example a column copied from a spreadsheet.
Download the student worksheets and the answer key, then print at actual size (100%), one-sided, so each sheet belongs to one student.
| Addition | Easy: 1–9 + 1–9. Medium: two-digit + two-digit, half with regrouping. Hard: three-digit + three-digit, with one or two regroupings. |
|---|---|
| Subtraction | Easy: facts within 18, answers 0–9. Medium: two-digit − two-digit, half with borrowing. Hard: three-digit − three-digit, with borrowing, including across zero. |
| Multiplication | Easy: 1–5 × 1–10. Medium: 2–12 × 2–12. Hard: two-digit × one-digit. |
| Division | Easy: divisors 1–5, answers 1–10. Medium: divisors and answers 2–12. Hard: two- or three-digit ÷ one-digit, with two-digit answers. |
Subtraction answers are never negative and division always comes out even. Each problem number is the same kind of problem on every worksheet (for example, problem 5 might be two-digit addition with regrouping); only the numbers change, so some combinations may still feel easier or harder to an individual student.
The generator has its own privacy notice on its page. For this website, see our Privacy Policy.
Yes. There is no account, no sign-up and nothing to buy.
Yes. No two worksheets in a class are identical. On Medium and Hard, two students share the same problem at the same question number on no more than 1 in 10 questions. Easy has fewer possible problems, so repeats between students are more common there.
Open “Reprint from worksheet code” in the generator, enter the code printed at the bottom of every worksheet, and reprint the whole class or one student. Use the same class size or the same name list, in the same order.
Names with English letters, accented letters (such as José or Zoë), Vietnamese letters, apostrophes, hyphens and periods, up to 30 characters and up to 40 names. Other scripts and emoji can’t be printed yet; the generator tells you which name to change.
