Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026 · Applies to all AIJJ apps including Emberlatch and the AIJJ productivity suite

The short version: we don't collect your personal data. All processing happens on your device. We have no servers storing your content or usage history. The only data we receive is anonymized purchase information used to manage subscriptions (see Section 7).

1. Who We Are

AIJJ LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company that develops and distributes privacy-first mobile productivity applications through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Our contact email is support@aijj.net.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all mobile applications developed and published by AIJJ LLC, including Emberlatch and all other AIJJ-branded apps.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We want to be completely transparent. The following types of data are never collected by our apps or transmitted to our servers:

4. How On-Device Processing Works

All AIJJ apps process your content entirely on your device. When you input content:

This is architecturally different from cloud-based services. We are technically incapable of viewing your content because it is never transmitted to us.

5. Local Data Storage

All data you create — content, history, settings, preferences — is stored locally on your device using platform-standard local storage; sensitive data is protected by system-level secure storage where applicable. This data:

6. No Third-Party Tracking

Our apps do not include:

The only third-party SDK included in our apps is RevenueCat, which is used solely to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases, as described in Section 7. We do not sell, rent, share, or monetize user data in any form.

7. Purchases & Subscription Data

If you purchase a subscription or one-time purchase through our apps, the payment transaction is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Your payment details, billing address, and financial information are never accessible to us.

To validate purchases and manage access to paid features, our apps use RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and subscription status (for example, whether a subscription is active), associated with a randomly generated anonymous identifier created on your device. This identifier is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personal information — our apps never collect those in the first place.

This anonymized purchase information is used exclusively to unlock the features you have paid for, restore purchases on your devices, and manage subscription renewals. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

Deletion: Because purchase records are tied only to an anonymous identifier, we have no way to determine which records belong to which person. As a result, we are unable to locate or delete an individual's purchase records on request. This data cannot be used to identify you, and it is not linked to any content you create in our apps.

8. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used our apps in a way that raises privacy concerns, please contact us at support@aijj.net.

9. International Users

Our apps are available globally. Because all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers, there is no cross-border data transfer by AIJJ LLC. Your data stays in your possession, on your device, in your country.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users through an in-app notice. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
